**Job Overview**

JENSEN HUGHES is seeking an Automatic Fire Sprinkler Designer/ Automated Fire Alarm Designer in Sydney or Brisbane. This highly visible role within the organization will report to the Director of Built Environment.

**Responsibilities**

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Designing Automated Fire sprinkler systems
- Liaising with builders and sprinkler fitters
- Designing Automated Fire Alarm Systems

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- 5-10 years experience in the fire protection industry.
- Thorough knowledge of Australian standards and the BCA.
- Experienced in design in of fire protection systems.
- Computer design knowledge with AutoCAD software
- Revit knowledge an advantage.
- Excellent design, planning and scheduling abilities.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self-motivation.
- Good communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
