Due to significant business growth, we are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Financial Planner to join our team. This full-time permanent position offers the opportunity to build and expand a client base. As part of this role, you will provide ongoing review services to existing clients and engage with new business leads.
Key Responsibilities: Meet with qualified new business leads provided by the company and be responsible for engaging them as new clients. Utilise exceptional engagement skills to create a memorable financial planning experience for new clients. Identify clients' needs and objectives, formulating appropriate advice strategies. Ensure compliance standards are adhered to throughout the process. Collaborate with our paraplanning team to create comprehensive statements of advice. Present advice to clients and assist them in understanding the recommendations. Coordinate with the administrative team to implement the provided advice. Assume responsibility for ongoing servicing needs of clients after the initial work is completed. We have robust support services in place and are continuously expanding them to minimise administrative burdens, allowing our advisers to focus on client needs and experiences. You will have access to support and guidance from our multi-award-winning Financial Planner Director.
Requirements: Demonstrated excellence in financial planning skills. Minimum of 24 months of experience providing personal advice as a Financial Planner. Completed the FASEA ethics exam. Minimum qualification of Diploma of Financial Planning with the view to completing the required additional units. Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and ADFP, CFP highly regarded (desirable but not essential). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and strong computer skills. Willingness to learn, grow, and embrace feedback. Possession of a current, unrestricted driver's licence. Experience using Xplan (desirable but not essential). This opportunity is ideal for a motivated individual who is client-focused and driven to achieve results.
