We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our client's team and drive excellence across all aspects of financial management.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the finance team, ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting, and actively contribute to strategic decision-making at the leadership level.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow management and weekly payments.
Process and manage payroll with precision.
Lead and support the finance team to achieve excellence.
Provide financial analysis and strategic advice to senior management and the Board.
Manage the month-end process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
Coordinate and present budgets and financial forecasts.
Regularly review debtor and creditor accounts to optimize financial health.
Ensure compliance with statutory obligations (e.g., BAS, payroll tax).
Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial systems.
Actively participate in bi-monthly Board meetings, providing insights and advice.
Foster and promote core values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, and Passion.
What We're Looking For: CPA (or equivalent) and a bachelor's degree in commerce, business, or accounting.
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar financial leadership role.
Expertise in cashflow forecasting and treasury functions.
Strong communication skills to deliver clear financial insights to the leadership team.
A passion for continuous improvement in systems and processes.
