Financial Analyst

Contract: 3 months
Pay: $51.26/hour + super
Location: Werribee
Role Overview:
Assist in statutory financial reporting functions and contribute to the operational success of the business unit, supporting senior staff and management through effective performance of responsibilities.
A background in fixed assets accounting is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities: Complete the organisation's statutory financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Manage financial and accounting responsibilities, including financial modelling and cash flow management.Deliver high-level service to internal and external stakeholders.Provide financial advice and training to other organisation business units.Contribute to operational success of the department and organisation.Implement and maintain sound risk management practices.Requirements: Oracle experience.Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Council policies.Understanding of applicable taxation and financial legislation.Strong financial modelling and cash flow management skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Additional Information:
Role involves providing advice on finance and accounting policies and is responsible for creating a risk-aware environment within the team.
