As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of general ledgers and related reconciliations.
Supporting the broader Finance function, this roll will ensure high quality reporting and business processes which have a financial impact.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity and will be based at our site in either Macquarie Park or Greystanes.
Tasks of the role: Support with the completion of month-end close processes Experience in Customer and Vendor Rebate calculations and reconciliations Monthly Accruals and maintaining prepayment schedules Support yearly and half yearly audits and have auditing oversight including managing information and related issues Collaborate with Finance Business Partners with monthly balances Provide reporting and commentary of activities to relevant stakeholder groups Some of the skills: CA/CPA part qualified accountant or starting CA/CPA with a minimum 4 years' accounting experience Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly excel and macros) High level written and verbal communication Experience with ERP systems desirable with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred What's in it for you: Support with projects that will have a direct impact Team member discounts for Bunnings, Kmart, Officeworks, OnePass, and Target Opportunities to grow and develop your career Participation in the Wesfarmers share plan Next Steps If you meet most of the criteria listed above and would like to be considered for this opportunity, please send your application today.
