About Our Client Our client has the support necessary for your success within the Financial Accounting role as a leading WA organisation in the public sector. Prepare end-of-month and end-of-year accruals, journals, and reconciliations. Monitor and clear suspense and control accounts. Manage payroll General Ledger (GL) processing and interfaces. Maintain and update the Chart of Accounts as needed. Assist in preparing Annual Financial Statements and reports. Prepare reports for external obligations. Conduct financial analysis as needed. Contribute to improvements in financial accounting and reporting. Exhibit leadership behaviours. The Successful Applicant Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance. Knowledge of current and emerging trends in financial and asset accounting, including Australian Accounting Standards, Financial Management Act 2006, and Treasurer's Instructions. Ability to develop and implement financial accounting services in line with governmental and stakeholder expectations, and community values.
