about the role
Reporting the Financial Controller and working within a small, yet highly performing team, this newly created role will see you supporting the business across EOM, EOFY and projects. Your key responsibilities will include:-
EOM reconciliations and preparation of financial reportsGL maintenanceVariance analysis and commentary Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecastsPreparation of audit workpapers and liaison with auditorsAsset ManagementWork with the business and broader finance team to identify opportunities to improve processes and controls for sound business decision makingSupport the development and maintenance of costing models for new and existing services about you
Ideally CA/CPA qualified (or close to completion), you'll describe yourself as a collaborative accountant who is proactive with strong attention to detail. Working as part of a small team, you will be technically competent and have a "no task too big or small" approach to your work and enjoy working with the business to identify opportunities to improve the way they do things. Advanced excel skills are essential.
