Due to the continued growth of the business, we require an experienced Financial Accountant with a strong understanding of accounting to join our Sydney team.
Your new role Reporting to the Commercial & Finance Manager, your role will support the financial operation of the business and help run day-to-day operations.
Your key responsibilities will include: Creating and distributing invoices, processing of accounts receivable payment, and follow up on overdue invoices Manage, check, and process weekly invoices and payments to suppliers Reconcile company credit card statements Set up and Process payroll, superannuation payments and reconciliation of payroll accounts Preparation of Weekly Management Reports What you bring You will have proven experience working within a professional services environment with outstanding client management skills as well as the following: Tertiary qualification in accounting, CA or CPA preferred Over 5 years experience in Financial Accountant or Senior Accountant role Demonstrate experience in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable Demonstrate experience in bank reconciliation Demonstrate experience in payroll (experience in Astute preferred) Demonstrate experience in general accounting tasks, i.e.
general ledger operations, processing journal entries, Balance Sheet reconciliation, etc.
