Financial Accountant - 6 Month Contract - Recognised Brand

This represents an excellent opportunity for a driven, highly motivated and qualified Financial Accountant looking for a long-term contract in which you can make a difference and add value to the team.
This is a key position within the finance team which reports directly to the Finance Manager.
Key responsibilities will include: Complete month-end and year-end financial accounting processes for various entities.Prepare monthly financial reporting and detailed financial analysis, investigations and commentary.Take the lead on budgeting and forecasting.
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Support AP, AR and Assistant Accountants as required.
Maintain the Fixed Asset register.Assist with taxation functions (including income tax, GST, and FBT).To be successful, you will be CA/ACCA/CPA qualified or close to qualification with a team player attitude.
You will have proven experience in a commercial environment and ideally, but not essentially, a background in a Chartered Accounting firm.
High-level Excel skills and communication skills are a must.
