Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Finance Officer/Assistant Accountant to join our Commercial Developments team in a full-time, permanent role starting immediately.
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with the corporate accountant to support essential accounting and finance functions.
Key Responsibilities: Process and management of Accounts Payable and Receivable functionsProcess credit card statementsEnd of Month Reconciliations, including investigating discrepancies.Process Purchase OrdersProcess End of Month journalsProcess Ownership Statements in Property Tree (Property Management software)Assisting with Fixed Asset RegistersPerform basic data analysis to support financial decision-making when requiredDriving efficiencies with AP & AR functions.Provide ad hoc support to Corporate Accountant and Finance Business Partner when required.Assist with admin related functions from time to time.To be successful in this role you will need: Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and proceduresExperience with AR/AP/GL functions and the month-end/year-end close processesComfortable working to deadlines and reporting timetablesExcellent attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsPositive, friendly attitude and team playerAble to show initiative and be a self-starterExperience using Accounting Software.
