By taking the time to recognise and reward our members, we build stronger relationships with the people who matter most.As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the monthly financial and management reporting for the Qantas Loyalty Group and provide key insights and strategic direction to assist with business decision making.You will ensure strong financial governance and compliance across the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet, while collaborating with business partners and other stakeholders to manage financial results and expectations.
You will also be accountable for critical financial business models and partner with key stakeholders to forecast and close the month result.
Other responsibilities include balance sheet reconciliations, capex reporting, intercompany eliminations and statutory reporting.To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:A Graduate degree in a relevant discipline and professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA)Forecasting, Planning and Analysis, and Financial Control experience within a similar roleExceptional financial modelling skillsAbility to drive value through business partnering within a large corporate organisation, coupled with extensive financial knowledgeThought leadership in managing large complex datasets, and extracting key insightsStrong commercial acumen with impeccable attention to detailA focus on process improvement with the ability to adapt and commit to continuous improvement activitiesExcellent communication and written skills to promote collaboration within both the Qantas Loyalty Group and broader Qantas Finance communityProven ability to manage and influence priorities across a broad stakeholder groupWhy Qantas?If you're successful in your application, you'll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
