Full timeReporting to the Regional Financial Controller, the Local Finance Leader will be a key partner to the Australian management team, providing critical business decision support through comprehensive financial analysis and insights. In this role, you will leverage your financial expertise and deep business knowledge to influence strategic decisions and drive performance improvements. A key aspect of the position is to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to optimise and enhance the ERP system. You will also be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely submission of management reports and analyses, while aligning local accounting practices and internal controls with corporate standards and policies.Role Responsibilities:Optimise the ERP system to improve the accuracy of financial reportingProvide input to shared service team during month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate submission of corporate reporting deliverablesReview monthly financial results, provide commentary, financial forecasts/annual operating planPerform/Coordinate reviews of internal controls compliance of the companyCo-ordinate with inventory management team on cycle countsEnsure accounting policies and procedures are in alignment with corporate policiesProvide information to support internal transfer pricing analysis processReview and process capital expenditure request, including cost analysis and commercial considerationsCo-ordinate with pricing team to provide pricing insight to the business team on machine dealsCo-ordinate with shared service team on credit limit requests and receivables collectionsReview monthly variance for departmental spend, margin and net working capitalProvide support to the Regional Financial Controller and management as necessary.Implement financial strategic plan as set by VP Finance or CFO.Experience and Qualifications:Demonstrated ability in the areas of financial control/monitoring, financial planning & analysis and team management with at least 7 years' experience, preferably with 3 years in a similar role.Experience in finance partneringGood understanding of Australian Accounting Standards / US GAAPPreferred: OraclePreferred: Good knowledge of internal control compliancePreferred Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualificationsAbout the businessTerex Corporation is a global industrial equipment manufacturer of materials processing machinery, waste and recycling solutions, mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), and equipment for the electric utility industry.
