They are fun, they move fast, and are growing!About the Opportunity:Reporting to the General Manager (and working closely with the Directors/Founders of the organisation), the Finance and Administration Lead keeps the cogs of the company spinning. This position is a stand-alone role covering Finance, Payroll, and HR compliance across the business, making this role an awesome all-rounder.
This position ensures financial and people compliance by leveraging their core people system Employment Hero end to end, for policies, payroll, contracts, and onboarding processes. Partyrama manage their business under the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework. This position will be an integral part in executing the framework throughout the business.Key Responsibility Areas:Lead and ensure compliance of all financial, legal, HR, payroll, Work Cover, governance, and legislative requirements.Manage Xero files and budgets to ensure accurate and timely reporting for the business.Lead all people compliance and administrative functions utilising Employment Hero for payroll, policies, compliance, and onboarding.Develop regular and meaningful reports in a timely manner to enable effective and pro-active decision making.Monitor cash flow and perform scenario assessments to identify improvements and benefits around 'what if' possibilities.Coordinate building maintenance, insurance renewals, and minor capital work projects.Take on the Return to Work position for the organisation.Assist in coordinating the company appreciation programs.Live and lead their SHINE values at all times.To be successful in this role you will have:5+ years' experience in a finance role with a keen interest in continuing to develop their financial prowess.Excellent bookkeeping and payroll foundations with a strong knowledge of accounting standards. CPA/CA qualifications are not essential but favourable.Prior exposure delivering HR compliance activities such as contracts, policies, and procedures.High proficiency with Xero and Excel and a general passion for utilising systems to automate tasks.A natural talent for producing accurate and well thought out reports and documentation.High proficiency utilising a HRIS and payroll system such as Employment Hero.Knowledge and experience with financial and compliance procedures for end of month, end of year, BAS/IAS requirements, payroll, WorkCover, and super.A core strength in developing meaningful reports and forecasting including prior background working with complex spreadsheets and large data sets highly desirable.A curiosity to look into the why and have a passion for solving issues and continuing to improve processes.Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence and partner with senior leaders.Exceptional interpersonal, reporting, negotiation, time management, and organisation skills.Trained Return to Work officer (or willingness to be trained as the RTW Coordinator).Any prior knowledge of the EOS framework favourable but not essential.
