This is a leave cover contract based in SYDNEY.
What you'll do as a Finance Analyst: This role will provide support to Financial and Business colleagues and assist in financial planning as well as promoting financial discipline to evaluate, budget and actively manage the financial discipline for technology and strategic services.
Functions will also include: Managing the annual operating plan, long-range plan, capital planningPreparation of month reporting including P&L variance analysis vs budget/forecastPreparation of reporting & analysis of capital expenditure submissionsAssist in preparing and consolidating various ad hoc analysis, reports and information requestsPartnering with the finance team to collect accurate information and input data into financial systemsEnsuring accuracy of data uploaded into the planning toolWhat are we looking for in a Finance Analyst? What's important? Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance preferred2-4 years of experience in a broad range of accounting functionsStrong business English language skills both spoken and writtenProficient in MS Office Suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills essentialExperience in SAP or Oracle is an advantage, as is experience in the Media and Entertainment industryDesire to be recognized by stakeholders as a business partnerAbility to demonstrate a proactive approach to challenges and issue resolutionAbility to work independently and show ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and meet deadlinesConfident in working with multiple deadlines with ability to prioritiseA team player with a cooperative attitudeWhy Paramount?
