You will be responsible for preparing, analysing, and reviewing monthly business performance, including profit and loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and working capital. Your insights will be critical in leading our budgeting and forecasting processes, providing support to senior leadership, and driving business performance through in-depth commercial analysis and the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs).
This is a full-time, fixed term contract position based out of our Labrador office and reporting to the Senior Finance Manager - Frozen Desserts.
Key responsibilities associated with this role include: Prepare, analyse, and review monthly business performance, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and working capital. Provide financial insights and support to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making. Drive business performance through commercial analysis and the establishment of KPIs. Enhance reporting processes to improve accuracy and timeliness of financial information. Partner with the Site Operations Team to maintain appropriate staffing levels and promote a safe work environment. Provide technical support to internal units, ensuring customer-focused financial solutions. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analysing performance and recommending enhancements. To be considered for the role, we are very keen to meet candidates who have demonstrated experience in or recent exposure to: Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of financial statements and business performance metrics. Demonstrated ability to lead budgeting and forecasting processes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience in partnering with operational teams to drive performance improvements. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
