Coming into 2024, join Place HQ and transition your real estate knowledge to provide administrative support as part of our collaborative finance team. Don't worry, you by no means need to be an accountant but to succeed you'll enjoy working with numbers, have worked in an administrative capacity and have well-developed customer service skills – the rest can be taught!

The position of Finance Administrator works with all Place offices to ensure that the funds collected for advertising purposes are accounted for resulting in properties being launched on schedule, refunds being completed as required and our obligations are met for managing funds held in trust accounts.

You will communicate regularly with employees across the network so experience in the industry will accelerate your ability to help across all queries. This position works Monday to Friday within standard business hours.

The successful candidate will: Promptly action phone and email queries from employees often regarding the receipt of marketing funds from their clients and general process questions;Handle the day-to-day management of the finance marketing process checking for appropriate authorisation;Ensure withdrawn properties are reconciled with credit balances confirmed;Review campaigns on finalisation of sale working with our internal Contracts team;Reconcile Trust Accounts, flagging any concerns with the Finance Operations Leader;Advance your skills when ready by participating in other Accounts Receivable tasks like raising franchise invoices. We hope to see from applicants: Experience working within the residential real estate industry (preferably within administration or property management);Experience working in a high volume role where correct data entry was a priority;A keen interest in being in a back end supporting role providing 5-star customer service;A positive attitude and desire to grow within Place HQ Finance – growth in responsibilities could include property management trust accounting support and offering assistance with accounts receivable across the group.
