About the Role At Far West LHD, our success is driven by the collective achievements of our people. As an experienced Registered Emergency Nurse, our dynamic team will support your growth while you share your expertise to mentor others.
Work in one of the Far West LHD's newer, modern facilities in a beautiful location 100 metres from the Murrumbidgee river and be an important and valuable member of our team.
This small hospital has 16 aged care including respite beds, 8 acute beds, Emergency Department and 2 Resus beds which is supported by Virtual Nurse Assist and My Emergency Doctor.

Current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with postgraduate qualification in relevant field to position or willingness to undertake.Recent remote and Emergency Department clinical experience, including current Advanced Life Support Accreditation.Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries to the delivery of patient care in the context of a multi-disciplinary team.Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized person-centered care.Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.Demonstrated commitment to work and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families to enhance health outcomes.Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills.Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.Applications Close: 10 December 2024 Diversity and Inclusion
