Do you love to help create a home away from home? Sodexo is currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated Catering Manager with a passion for food, strong catering knowledge and excellent customer service skills to join our Team to engage all levels of Sodexo Catering staff, Village Management and dining room guests. This is a fulltime FIFO position on an 2:2 roster and is a great opportunity for a passionate leader. 
Who are we looking for? As the Catering Manager, you will be accountable for the onsite catering operations. This is a fast-paced role requiring a high level of motivation and focus. To be successful, you'll need: 
AustralianCitizenship,orfull Australian working rightsAble to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police checkStrong Chef experience and work history required (FIFO experience highly desirable)Certificate III Commercial CookeryAdvanced Food Handlers Certificate or Food Safety Supervisor CertificateExperience in a high-pressure catering, boardroom, corporate, hotel or events environment Previous experience in a supervisory or management roleAbility to manage a team of up to 30 staffExperience in menu planning and productionDemonstrated ability to control food and labour costs, as well as a demonstrated analytical and mathematical abilityStrong financial and budgeting skillsWorking on-site with our teams means you'll be working 11 hours per day on an 8:6 roster (eight days at work and six days at home),oftenin extreme environments. So having a good level of fitness will help you get through each day! 
About the role; The successful candidate will be expected to;
Be accountable for all onsite catering operationsFocus on continuously improving the efficiency and profitability of catering operations onsiteBe responsible for maintaining a high standard of service in accordance with Sodexo and Client expectations whilst working within budgetIn this high-performance environment, you will achieve success by consulting with stakeholders on a regular basis while driving a high level of performance within your Team Develop and maintain a strong, safety-focused culture within your TeamWhychooseSodexo?
