About the role
Due to an increase in new high-end Print Production products, we are looking to fill a Field Service Technician position to join our ACT Print Production team, providing outstanding service and support to our valuable customer base.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and support of our Production Print equipment and ancillary products with associated software & services solutions to our valuable customer base.
As a member of the ACT Service Team, you will ensure customer satisfaction through on-site Corrective and Preventative maintenance on customer equipment. This role works within a team of dedicated technicians and reports directly to the State Service Delivery Manager.
Previous experience in the Print Production industry is highly desirable and will be looked upon favourably, although not essential for the right candidate in a similar industry (automotive, aviation, marine technicians etc) looking to start their career in a hands-on technical role with fantastic learning and development opportunities.
To be qualified for this position, ideally, your background and skills will comprise of the following:
Your strong technical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and professional approach, as well as a positive attitude in dealing with customers, are essential attributes for this role. A keen desire to learn and apply new skills will be encouraged in the Konica Minolta environment that fosters continuous employee development. Applicants must possess a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proven track record of excellent customer service, ensuring to go above and beyond. Ability to work autonomously, whilst keeping in contact with your team to ensure workload is consistent and transparent. Essential requirements for this role: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service skills. Excellent organisation and time management skills. Driver's License and Working with Children Check. Australian citizenship. Ability to undergo Police Check. Ability to obtain AGSVA clearance, existing clearance preferred. As per Konica Minolta compliance procedures, the successful candidate will be required to undertake background checks.
