As we want to continue growing, we hope to find, as soon as possible, for the following position in our subsidiary in Australia:Field Sales Engineer, Factory Automation - New Zealand & South East VictoriaReporting to the Regional Sales Manager based in Australia, this role is responsible for:Supporting an existing customer network with a focus on new business development.Achieving sales targets for New Zealand or South East metro and regional Victoria plus New Zealand.Create and build upon strong business relationships with thecustomer base, building effective and sustainable relationships with the primary objective of growing these customer groups:Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)Large end-usersSystems integratorsMajor Accountabilities:Develop/ build new businesses as well as maintain strong relationship with key/ strategic customers in assigned regionsIdentify new market opportunities and determine the most effective and suitable methods of converting those opportunities to salesEnsure CRM systems are updated with activities and opportunities in accordance with Company expectationsProvide reliable and timely activity information through the reporting, monitoring and analysis of trendsMaintain effective and efficient customer service support using internals Sales Admin team along with Inter-Company support structuresAchieve and where possible exceed agreed sales targets in accordance with annual Budget projectionsDevelop, maintain and nurture viable sales channel and partnersRequirements:Tertiary qualifications in Electrical/ Electronics or trade-qualified with proven sales experienceSound knowledge of the New Zealand Factory Automation market and demonstrated successful sales achievements to dateSales oriented and results driven with a drive for business development and must possess a "Hunter" dispositionBackground in sensors or factory automation highly regarded - and comfortable with conventional applications through to more complex digital solutions.Comprehension of our product portfolios and smart sensor solutions will be highly regardedSelf-motivated individual, a relationship builder, hands-on and leads by exampleA flexible, adaptable and confident communicatorPositive, energetic and motivated to achieve resultsAutonomous working and self-leadership style is crucial for the success of this roleMust be comfortable with significant travel schedule to assigned region per business needsThen we would like to meet you.
