Job Description As a project manager in the feedlot team at Meat & Livestock Australia, you will work closely with a wide range of red meat industry stakeholders.
The role centres around delivering strategic impact-driven research, development and adoption to address the needs of Australian Lot Feeders to ensure long-term sustainability and profitability of the industry.
About the Role Gaining excellent exposure to the operations of our business and external stakeholders, we have a rewarding role for a Feedlot Project Manager to join our Research Development and Adoption team.
Our ideal Feedlot Project Manager has: Ability to identify Research Development & Adoption (RD&A) needs and opportunities to improve the productivity and profitability of grainfed cattle production in Australia. Demonstrated success addressing these needs through the establishment, management, and execution of appropriate RD&A programs and projects. Experience in aligning productivity RD&A activities with cross-sectional RD&A programs with particular emphasis on Sustainability and Animal Wellbeing programs. The successful candidate will be required to hold an appropriate visa/residency status for full-time employment in Australia.
