APG Workforce are currently on the lookout for a Poultry Farm Manager based in Coominya.Excellent salary + accommodation on offer!With a strong focus on team culture, safety, and a fast-paced environment, you will be required to be both physically and mentally fit to ensure you become an integral part of their team and culture moving forward.The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and highly proactive leader capable of working with a diverse team to achieve desired outcomes.Duties and Responsibilities Will Include:Lead and motivate a small teamMaintain the health and wellbeing of livestockFollow and implement all company policies and procedures with regard to animal welfare, WHS, environmental and biosecurityEnsure production data is maintainedAttend any meetings and training as requiredMinimum 2 years' experience as a Poultry Farm ManagerRotating roster (5 days per week)Daily requirements for the welfare of chickens, checking sheds, collecting deceased birds, running computer programs, ordering feed and gas, and faxing weekly reports to the producer when neededTimely feeding - food & waterArrange with the producer for the placement of chicks and collection of grown birds, as required by the producerEssential Skills:Previous poultry livestock management experienceAbility to manage a small team and communicate effectively with all team membersProactive time management skills and ability to prioritize dutiesHigh level of computer literacy and above average level of numeracy skillsCurrent driver's licenseAbility to forward planAttention to detailSafety focused and able to ensure all WHS policies and procedures are followedGood mechanical skillsPlease note: Due to our strict biosecurity requirements, you must not have any birds, pigs, or poultry at home and be willing to maintain our quarantine policy and procedures.If you are looking for a long-term role and believe you have the above skills and experience and want to join one of Australia's largest poultry producers, please forward your cover letter and resume including your qualifications, experience, and references.Overseas applicants need not apply.Please send your resume to ******
