Far North Day Hospital (FNDH) is expanding its surgical workload, and we are now in need of a number of Registered Nurses and CSSD Technicians to join our existing surgical team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation.Locally owned Integrated Medical Services (IMS) owns and operates FNDH, and we offer a comprehensive range of surgical specialties to about 6,000 patients each year.Our goal is to provide seamless, high-quality care to our patients while supporting our team of professionals.What We Are Looking For:Current Registration with AHPRA (no conditions)Previous working experience in any of the perioperative areas detailed belowProven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary health services teamQualifications in either Peri-Operative Nursing, Anaesthetic & Recovery Nursing, CSSD commensurate with role being applied for.Scrub experience in any of the following specialities: Ophthalmology, Urology, Endoscopy, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Plastic Surgery, IVF, OrthopaedicsAirway Management in RecoveryCurrent ALS, PALS, BLSMinimum 2 years' operating room experienceKnowledge of perioperative patient medical records and the use of patient management software systemsFamiliarity with operating room equipment – both diagnostic and general
