Position: Factory/Production Manager

Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 per year excluding Super Annu
Supafresh, based in Oakford, runs a vertically integrated salad farming and packing business. We have an opportunity for a full-time Factory/Production Manager.
Responsibilities: Liaising with Supervisors regarding day-to-day planning of production schedules and timing, and assisting as required. Set performance KPI's for Supervisors, i.e., Run rates, Waste, Quality and GMP standards, $/kg, Downtime, Labour, Production variances, etc. Conduct weekly and monthly cycle counts and stock controls, inventory upkeep. Liaising with QA Manager regarding day-to-day QA and QC matters and assisting as required. Liaising with Logistics/Farm Manager regarding dispatch, deliveries, and planning of daily logistics. Liaising with Farm Manager regarding oversupplies, undersupplies, quality forecasts and issues, and management of stock. Site and Factory maintenance planning and scheduling, both reactive to problems and preventative pre-planning. Hosting and managing compliance expectations of customers, training and implementing changes as required, i.e., Food Safety Audits. Managing team to create a happy, secure, and positive work environment. Liaising with the Managing Directors to ensure the vision is reflected in culture, reputation, and growth of the business. Ensuring budgets are met, production costings are within expectation and promoting a constant improvement culture. Being a trusted, valued, and respected part of the team. From time to time, you may need to work after hours, weekends, and public holidays, as per critical operations requirements.
