Facility Manager (Building Maintenance)

We are seeking an experienced Building Maintenance expert based in Launceston to provide high level support to an existing team of experienced building maintenance tradesmen, providing services to a number of industry sectors across Northern Tasmania.

We are looking for someone who has demonstrated knowledge and experience in: Relevant Building Industry Trade Modern Building Maintenance Management Contract Management and Client relationships Subcontractor Engagement and management Insurance Claim Management Essential Health and Safety Feature compliance in accordance with the Tasmanian Building Regulations Financial Acumen, including report analysis and contract budgeting Project Management of asset renewals Outstanding customer service combined with strong communication skills The ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and client expectations A range of software platforms including Microsoft Office, Hammer Tech and Endata.

This is a role for an experienced middle manager, providing strong leadership, strategic direction and management with reporting responsibilities both internally and externally directly to multiple client representatives.
