Facilities Officer (Temp)

Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join their team on a temporary basis | 3 month full time contract.
Our client is a leading not-for-profit provider of accommodation and outreach services for vulnerable Western Australians experiencing or at risk of homelessness, mental health challenges, trauma and hardship.
Responsibilities
They are seeking a Facilities and Procurement Officer to join their team on a 3 month full time contract, based out of their head office in East Perth.
There may be potential and opportunity for this position to transition into a permanent role.
The Facilities Officer duties and responsibilities include:

Overseeing maintenance work on the portfolio, ensuring properties and gardens are in an optimal, compliant state.
Manage contractors for hard and soft services and ensure procurement of services is commercially sound.
Maintain asset register.
Ensure maintenance works meet business requirements and compliance with Australian Standards, legislation and building codes.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with all clients and stakeholders.
Be the first point of contact for technical, maintenance and cleaning advice.
Organising procurement, transport and installation of furniture within the residential properties.
Travel to and from sites as required.

Qualifications
Experience and proven capability in managing and maintaining facilities, properties, contracts, and tenders.
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field including engineering, property or project management.
Knowledge of legislation, building codes and WHS requirements.

You must provide a National Police Clearance obtained within the last 3 months, and hold a valid WA drivers licence.
