Band 3 salary range from $63,342 to $67,467 plus applicable allowances and superannuationWork with a skilled team to deliver outstanding results for the communityThe Role Are you a qualified tradeperson looking for a change?
This position plays a key role in contributing to the success of the works group as an internal service provider for the City of Ballarat.
The incumbent will provide the expertise to successfully undertake a wide range of maintenance and construction activities and provide the flexibility to support programmed works within other areas of Infrastructure & Environment.
Key Selection Criteria A recognised trade certificate in carpentry/joinery, bricklaying or concreting, or equivalent experience, is essential.Some experience working with steel would be an advantage.An understanding and knowledge of current building and work practices.Proven ability to provide high quality work within time constraints in the maintenance and construction field.Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.An ability to utilise intermediate computer skills, and familiarity with associated software.A Victorian Driver's Licence is essential.To Apply To apply for this position please click theApplybuttonandsubmityour application.
