Highly sought after NSW Government Organisation Sydney CBD | Hybrid RoleCompetitive Hourly RateOur client is a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation who are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Officer - Rail to join their team.
The role is responsible for ensuring all Facilities Maintenance assets are maintained to standards and requirements. This role acts as the primary operational interface of the Facilities Maintenance Unit to coordinate and deliver the provision of end-to-end preventative and corrective maintenance services to meet the needs of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify and instigate appropriate actions to resolve problems or issues with all assets by notifying the appropriate FM Service team, referring to an approved service provider or to act as a first responder to all reported calls.Manage the delivery of maintenance services including conducting inspections, identifying and reporting on repairs and maintenance needs, responding to maintenance requests raised by staff and undertaking repairs and delivering minor maintenance work as required restoring assets and buildings to agreed standards.Manage maintenance work through all phases including planning, the development of scoping and delivery to produce high quality maintenance outcomes that meet project objectives and comply with procurement, probity and administration standards.Selection Criteria: Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Asset maintenance processes accounting for asset lifecycle | Demonstrated knowledge of relevant building codes and standards and ability to interpret drawings, plans and specifications.Demonstrated experience in managing maintenance work through all phases including planning, the development of scoping and delivery.Rail Industry Worker Qualification | Certified Electrical or HVAC Background with substantial Building Maintenance experience.Current Drivers Licence.On offer is a daily rate contract at a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation, with a highly competitive hourly rate.
