The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our work environment is safe, efficient, and conducive to productivity for all employees. You will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance schedules, overseeing repairs and improvements with a degree of hands-on work that will be required, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Facilities Engineer will collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and provide support while leading a team of maintenance staff and vendors. Excellent communication and organizational skills are critical to successfully produce and manage budgets, vendor contracts, and project timelines. If you are a results-oriented professional with a passion for creating optimal work environments, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.ResponsibilitiesCompany compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facilities.Maintenance Services: Regular upkeep of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural maintenance.Security Services: Implementation of security measures, including surveillance, access control, and on-site security personnel.Energy Management: Optimizing energy use to reduce costs and environmental impact.Rail: Track infrastructure, track maintenance, Rail Fuelling & Controlled Emissions Toilet (CET) maintenance.Planning: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal operation of building systems and in some instances have a hands-on approach in maintaining compliance monitor and control facility budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.Management: Coordinate with vendors for outsourced services. Collaborate with other departments to assess and fulfil their facility requirements.
