What we are looking for:You will support the Team Leader Facilities by providing expert advice and hands-on assistance, ensuring the safe, efficient, and enjoyable operation of our aquatic, amenities, and play equipment. The role will involve:
Undertaking water testing and quality control, monitoring chemical dosing and water purification and filtration for our parks' water play areas.Maintaining and servicing interactive water features.Completing playground and other parks assets inspections.Providing technical advice to the wider parks and facilities teams.Undertaking maintenance and repair work on both a cyclic and needs basis.Please click here to view a full Position Description.
What you should have to apply:Sound knowledge of water testing standards and related skills.Previous experience in the maintenance and repairs of aquatic facilities, parks, or a similar environment.Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to water parks and recreational facilities.First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to commencing).Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.Be willing and able to follow instructions, including complying with written procedures.Medium Rigid (MR) or ability to obtain (within 6 months of commencement).What's nice to have:Aquatic Technical Operations Course.Certificate IV Swimming Pool and Spa Services.Playground Inspection Level 2.What Council can offer you:Learning and Development opportunities.Flexible working arrangements.Up to 12% employer super contribution.Study assistance program.Reward and recognition.24/7 access to Employee Assistance Program.Vaccinations.Paid Emergency Services leave.Application requirements:Please apply online with your resume and cover letter.
