About the Role: We are thrilled to be announcing the opening of our first international showroom in the beautiful city of Auckland before the end of the year, followed by London, San Francisco, and Toronto in 2025.
The company has experienced amazing success and we'd love for you to join us as a Sales Consultant as we open our beautiful new spaces across the globe.
You will be providing bespoke and informative consultations to clients as they discover or design their dream piece of jewellery, whether that be in person or through online consultation.
Reporting to the dedicated and supportive Showroom Manager, you will be working on a full-time, permanent basis.
Whether jewellery is already your passion, or you simply love working with people and are interested in finding out all there is to know about jewellery and diamonds, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities Include: Through in-person and online consultations, you'll be assisting clients in selecting jewellery, offering personalised advice and education, guiding them through the customisation process, and preparing independent custom quotes; Coordinate aftercare services consultations including resizing, repairs, and lifetime warranty claims, with a fast turnaround and high client satisfaction. Client Experience and Brand Embodiment Communicating with clients in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring clarity and building trust throughout the sales consultation process, with prompt and professional communication via emails and phone calls; Promoting Cullen Jewellery's commitment to ethical practices and community initiatives; Performing reception duties as required, including greeting clients, managing phone calls, and handling deliveries and equipment discreetly. Showroom Preparation Assist in maintaining the overall presentation and upkeep of the showroom, including cleaning displays and products as required; Participating in the daily setup and opening of the showroom, and ensuring the cleanliness of consultation desks and other showroom areas; Engaging in the development of the wider team by sharing ideas, providing feedback to managers, and actively contributing to and participating in sales meetings; Completing ad-hoc tasks such as stock takes, changing product displays, and managing postage tasks as required; Performing other duties or responsibilities as directed by the Showroom Manager or delegate. What are we Seeking? Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally within the premium jewellery or retail industry; High attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional client experience; Passion for premium jewellery and a deep understanding of ethical and sustainable practices; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centric and team-player approach; Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and processes; Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals; Computer literacy, with proficiency in email and client management systems; The right to work in the relevant country; Capacity to work on a Saturday consistently.
