Position No: 009276
Level/Salary: HES Grade A - Corporate $213,658- $230,186 p.a.
(inclusive of base salary and 11.5% superannuation)

This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for up to six (6) months.

Position Description
The Area Director Infrastructure and Asset Management leads and directs the development, implementation, delivery, coordination and evaluation of infrastructure development, strategic asset management and planning, facilities management and environmental sustainability functions for the North Metropolitan Health Service.

This position leads the formulation and implementation of initiatives and systems which support the NMHS in achieving its strategic objectives within allocated resources; drives continuous improvement in planning, processes and performance to ensure the delivery of services that are professional, responsive, customer focused and accountable.
This role reports to the Chief Corporate Operations Officer.

Track record in consistent demonstration of the 5 core competencies for Health Executives shown in the attached JDF.
Significant experience in leading and managing infrastructure/asset management functions within a large and complex organisation.
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage people in the achievement of objectives.
Proven record in the development and implementation of new strategies in a complex organisational environment, and a track record of successful service improvements.
Current knowledge of legislative obligations for Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety and Health, and how these impact on employment and service delivery.
