You will provide specialist technical advice and operational support for telecommunications design, commissioning, handover and maintenance standards, detailed scopes & specifications and assess the telecommunications aspects of tenders against prescribed standards.
You will also conduct telecommunications design reviews including network integration feasibility and site and surveillance audits as required while also getting involved in technical investigations for telecommunications network commissioning issues as required.

About YouHere's what we're looking for in our next team member:
Tertiary qualification in Electrical/ Electronic disciplines or relevant industry experience.Minimum 5 years' experience in a related role with demonstrated knowledge of legislated industry requirements (National Electricity Rules, SA Electricity Transmission Code, AEMO Guidelines).Well-developed technical integration skills in a telecommunications environment with good understanding of technical standards and sound experience with telecoms design and commissioning systems.Demonstrated understanding of PDH, SDH, WDM technologies, coupled with relevant experience in microwave radio design and installation and optic fibre systems.Experience in accurate fault investigation and event recording, adhering to company SLA's and local Operational Procedures.Possess good written and verbal communication skills; good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Flexible approach to working hours and after-hours commitments.How To ApplyPlease apply online via our careers page before 30 November 2024.
