About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join a well-established multidisciplinary team in the South Brisbane/Gold Coast area. This role will involve working with children and adolescents with a variety of developmental and physical needs.
Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate children's functional abilities and needs Develop and implement individualized intervention plans Provide therapy services in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, and clinics Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate records and documentation Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in paediatric occupational therapy Essential Criteria:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Current registration with AHPRA Experience working with children and adolescents Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and clinical reasoning abilities Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Minimum 5 years' experience working with children. Current First Aid and CPR certification. Must have or obtain prior to the job, an NDIS worker screening check (Yellow Card) Must have or obtain prior to the job, a Queensland Working With Children screening clearance (Blue Card) Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
