Experienced Key Account Manager – Wholesale / Retail – Furniture

Our Client: Has been in business for over 100 years and is a well established brand that represents thevery best in design, function, longevity and ease of operation.
They pride themselves on their customer servicevalues and longevity of their staff.
They are the market leaders in shade products and outdoor furniture and have an established client base of major and smaller distributors and retailers across Australia.Your Role: The aim of your role is to service and manage key accounts/channel networks/distributors inSydney Metro area.
This will include dealing at Head office level through to franchise owners.
You will spend the majority of your week client facing with distributors and you will be responsible for building long-term business relationships with the customer base and ensuring first class customer service and support to each distributor.
Asmall component to the role will focus on new business, but the majority of the role isaccount management.Skills Needed: Previous experience in a Wholesale Sales or Key Account Management role withina similar industry – furniture, homewares, shade products.Experience selling and negotiating at Head Office Level with Major Retailers in Australia.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a proven track record ofachieving sales targets and KPI's.On the road sales experience and ability to plan and manage a call cycle andgeographical territory.Ability to work autonomously (WFH) and report back on sales andperformance figures for your defined client base and product categories.Strong relationship building skills, excellent problem solving skills and ability to build rapport with a variety of customers.Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for putting thecustomer first.In Return: You will inherit an established client base to manage and build relationships with.
Your role will be based WFH Monday to Friday and you will manage your own call cycle and plan your week ahead.
The starting salary package is $95/100K + Super + FM Vehicle + Tools of Trade + Uncapped Bonus.
