We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Exercise Physiology interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in the Sydney CBD area.
In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the support of a strong, close team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals. Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological, and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
This opportunity working as a Rehabilitation Consultant stands out as you will also get exposure delivering some of IPAR's innovative services including our pain education Re-thinking Recovery program. This program centres around using virtual reality and modern pain science to help people understand pain and re-train their brain and body.
Duties of the role include:

Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks);
Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills;
Deliver our innovative virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery.

You'll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below!

Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology registration with ESSA;
Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
Fabulous communication skills;
Compassion and kindness;
Well-developed time management skills;
A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must.
