Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development) Full time Recognised as one of the most dynamic and impactful providers of disability services nationally, Life Without Barriers (LWB), seeks to appoint an experienced and passionate executive to lead their Disability Services portfolio. This is a newly created role intended to bring an enhanced focus on the operational aspects within LWB's disability service stream.
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer – Disability and Mental Health and leading a national team of around 4,000 committed staff, this role will have responsibility for ensuring service integrity and delivery to support LWB's clients in living the life they choose, in the way they choose.
The ideal candidate will have extensive operational experience in the disability services sector, along with a proven track record of managing large, complex, and geographically dispersed program operations. They will bring a genuine human rights lens and a focus on operational and practice leadership. They will be the type of person who instinctively collaborates and co-designs to achieve success.
LWB recognises the unique expertise of individuals with disability and are guided by the people they support. The organisation seeks to ensure lived experience guides and informs services. As such, personal lived experience of disability will be highly regarded along with the demonstrated ability to use lived experience to influence change.
