Details: The Project Management Office, Major Projects Canberra, is looking for a highly motivated professional for the role of Executive Branch Support Officer.As the Executive Branch Support Officer, you will provide Executive and branch management support reporting to the Executive Branch Manager as well as provision of strategic coordination of branch activity and communication.
The role is responsible for providing administrative support in preparing meeting agendas and minutes, drafting reports and briefs as well as ensuring all incoming and outgoing communications are complete, accurate and managed in a timely manner.You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality control and administration of all governance documentation related to the office.If you're someone who thrives in a high-pressure, dynamic environment, is organised and diligent and skilled in administration, writing and governance and enjoys the challenge of contributing to high performing and diverse teams, you may be the perfect person for this role.If you're ready to take on this exciting opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.Primary dutiesManage the Executive Branch Manager's diary, emails, meetings, and other ad-hoc requests to support the Executive or branch as required.Review and coordinate communication and documentation in and out of the branch, prioritising, redirecting, tracking, researching background information as required, and responding as appropriate.Prepare correspondence, newsletters, reports, and assemble supporting documents for a range of meetings.
Coordinate responses on a range of issues for the branch.Coordination of branch governance activities including weekly reporting to the Executive Branch Manager, reporting on progress of the branch Business Plan and commitments, and undertake secretariat functions for committees and working groups.Represent the branch in general communications across ACT Government and with stakeholder agencies.Critically examine, evaluate, and take appropriate action on requests, reports, audits, submissions, and information submitted to the branch and the Executive to ensure relevance, completeness and accuracy.Assist in preparation of Human Resources (HR) recruitment documentation and process.We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people with diverse thoughts, lived experience, and perspectives can thrive and contribute their unique talents to the ACTPS and ACT community.
