This is a really diverse role with ever-changing priorities requiring the successful candidate to juggle multiple projects, prioritise, communicate, innovate, and work in a collaborative manner in both a one-on-one and team environment.
As the conduit between one of the National Sales BDM's and the internal teams, you will have an adaptable communication style and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be the glue between the BDM & well, everyone so you will need to be upbeat, proactive and enjoy having a laugh (a dry sense of humour, positive outlook on life and being o.k with the occasional "politically incorrect" joke would be a perfect match).
Your duties will evolve over time but initially it will be your responsibility to:
Co-ordinate and facilitate all requests for quotes, information and sales support using internal resources as required.Provide timely, accurate and professional administrative assistance, including preparation of quotes, sales and marketing collateral, presentations and training documentation.Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.Collaborate and communicate with internal sales support teams to streamline communication and support the execution of individual and companywide sales initiatives.Manage scheduling, correspondence, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics to keep the National Sales Manager's schedule efficient and organised.Oversee special sales projects or initiatives, ensuring they are executed on time and align with sales goals.Conduct research to identify new sales opportunities, customer trends, and competitive insights to support strategic planning.Ensure the National BDM is properly prepared for meetings/commitments and has all relevant information, presentations and documentation required.Research and keep abreast of current and emerging technologies which may assist the GVK Sales environment in continuous improvement initiatives.This role isn't for the faint-hearted and building an effective relationship will be key and for this you should be rewarded!
