This key role requires a professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional relationship-building skills, and is adept at managing multiple priorities.The ideal candidate will be proactive in anticipating business needs, displaying excellent communication skills, and remaining adaptable in a constantly evolving operational landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the Vice President's complex and constantly changing calendar, ensuring the most effective use of time. Prioritise meetings and events according to business needs, urgency, and strategic importance.Take initiative to re-organise schedules when unexpected changes arise, including managing conflicting meetings and travel arrangements.Ensure that the Vice President is always prepared for meetings by providing relevant documentation, briefings, and background information in advance.Follow-up and track actions and minutes arising from meetings.Develop and implement systems to ensure the Vice President's time is optimized and that no critical tasks or deadlines are overlooked.Demonstrate a proactive approach to solving problems, identifying potential issues before they arise, and taking action to resolve them.Maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions, particularly in handling strategic operations or confidential business matters.Attend senior leadership meetings as required to provide real-time administrative support.Coordinate all travel bookings and arrangements for VP of Operations and occasionally to other leadership including organising detailed itineraries in conjunction with multiple stakeholders.To be successful in this role you will need:Significant experience of applying initiative and judgement to ambiguous and changing situations.Ability to take comprehensive meeting minutes/action points.Substantial experience in proactive ownership and action of tasks, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and providing regular updates.Significant experience with calendar scheduling/meeting management/expenses management.Confident, resilient, tenacious and flexible approach.Ability to quickly learn new programmes and processes.Understand the importance of representing the business as an ambassador for Lockheed Martin Australia.Experience within defence/secure working environment.Special RequirementsApplicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.How we reward you:When you join Lockheed Martin, you work on projects you won't experience anywhere else.
