Role opportunity In this role you will provide efficient executive and administrative support to the Executive Director Member Services, including:
managing correspondence, telephone screening, diary and email management, task monitoring, coordinating travel logistics and project support. coordinating agendas and briefing notes for stakeholder meetings and implementing processes to record and monitor the outcomes of these meetings. Prepare agendas and minutes for Boards, committees, working parties, reference groups and other meetings, attending meetings to take minutes as required. Support LGA General Meetings by coordinating the register of voting delegates, preparing the agendas, and drafting minutes for approval. About you You'll bring strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and interact professionally with executive leadership and Members.
You will need:
Excellent coordination, time management and organisational skills and ability to prioritise duties daily. Demonstrated experience communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a concise, professional, and responsive manner to deliver customer-focused outcomes. Agility and flexibility working as part of a small administration team with a calm approach to your work. Understanding of board/committee meeting processes and minute taking. Experience in using Electronic Document Records Management, Customer Relationship Management, Content Management systems (the LGA uses ECM-Technology One, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Squiz CMS) and Microsoft Suite.
