Events Support Officer Your new employer The vibrant Town of Victoria Park is seeking energetic and passionate Events Support Officers (multiple) to join our Events, Arts and Funding team in a casual capacity.
Your new role As part of the Events, Arts and Funding team, the Events Support Officers will be responsible for supporting the planning, delivery and evaluation of the Town's community and civic events throughout the year.
Responsibilities include supporting: Event planning – site inspections, supplier liaison, and development of event documentation.
Event delivery – event bump-in, oversight of activities/suppliers at event, gathering event feedback, and event pack-down.
Event evaluation – collating event feedback and supporting the event's evaluation requirements.
To be successful in this position, you will need to be self-motivated and solution-focused, with sound interpersonal and event coordination skills.
Our ideal candidate will have completed or working towards qualifications in event management or similar experience in planning and delivering events Strong organisational and time management skills Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
Availability to work in the evenings and weekends.
