We are seeking an experienced ETL Tester to join our dynamic team.
The ETL Tester will be responsible for validating and verifying data transformations and ensuring data integrity throughout the ETL process.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data testing, SQL, and ETL tools.Key Responsibilities:Data Validation: Validate data from source systems to target systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and ETL specifications.Execution of Tests: Execute manual and automated test cases, report defects, and track the resolution of issues.ETL Process Testing: Test ETL processes to ensure data is extracted, transformed, and loaded correctly.Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing on ETL processes to ensure they meet required performance benchmarks.Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ETL processes.Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as an ETL Tester or similar role, with a strong understanding of ETL processes.Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Microsoft SSIS).Experience with data validation and data quality testing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with automation testing tools.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Tester, Data Warehousing certifications).How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume.SYNECHRON'S DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STATEMENTDiversity & Inclusion are fundamental to our culture, and Synechron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
