We are seeking a talented Estimator with strong preconstruction expertise to help us deliver exceptional commercial construction projects.What you'll be doingPrepare Accurate Cost Estimates: Analyse project plans, specifications, and documents to create detailed and precise estimates for commercial construction projects.Lead Tendering & Bid Management: Oversee the tender process, including preparing bids, evaluating submissions, and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers.Provide Preconstruction Expertise: Contribute to design development, feasibility studies, and risk assessments, ensuring projects align with client budgets and goals.Conduct Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality, and present value management strategies to optimize project outcomes.Manage Project Setup & Handover: Assist in defining project scopes, schedules, and documentation, ensuring smooth transition to the delivery team.Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication with project managers, architects, and engineers.What We're Looking For:Previous experience in preparing detailed cost estimates, analysing project plans, and developing budgets.Proven ability to lead tendering processes, manage bids, and collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers.Ability to analyse scope requirements including trade quotes etc.A detail-oriented, analytical mindset with excellent communication skills to ensure smooth handover to the project delivery team.What we offerAt KEYYSTONE, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
