About the JobAs Estimator at Technip Energies, you will provide support to the tendering/project team by preparing and coordinating accurate cost estimates, taking into account Technip Energies tendering philosophy, estimating guidelines and Client's scope of work.
Your previous experience in producing high level study work estimates as well as detail norms-based estimates will be key in this role.
Some responsibilities will include; but not limited to:
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of estimating techniques and methodologies applicable to onshore/offshore greenfield/brownfield oil and gas industry.Maintain awareness of, and compliance with Technip Energies Group Procedures and Guidelines which directly affect the work undertaken.Assist the tendering team with commercial responses to Client following receipt of Invitation to Tender/Request.Assist Project team with providing budgetary estimates and basis of estimate deliverables during engineering studies.Develop Database and Norms related to brownfield energy project estimating.Coordinate with the procurement team and help expedite all subcontract commercial bids for third party quotations to finalise pricing of tender.Coordinate obtaining appropriate Management approval of Technip Energies Tender Proposal Pricing in accordance with procedures prior to tender submission including preparation of Authorisation to Tender (SUBMIT) documentation.Coordinate post-tender submission responses to clarifications raised by Client, including attending clarification meetings as required.Gaining appropriate Management approval for any changes of price/position that deviate from Group Corporate principles.Demonstrate sound knowledge of estimating tools, preferably software packages based on databases and Microsoft Excel.We offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity and pioneer spirit which drive our people.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Commercial or Business, or a background in resources and/or energy Industry.3-7 years' experience as a Project Engineer / Contracts Engineer / Estimator in resources and/or energy industry.Sound knowledge of the resources and/or energy industry.Contractual/Commercial knowledge of working regulations and procedures preferably in Australia.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of Estimating Software advantageous.Ability to communicate well with both internal and external stakeholders.Ability to meet stringent deadlines, often necessitating additional hours being worked.Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.Ability to work under own initiative with minimum supervision.Clear verbal and written communication skills.Keen commercial awareness.We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply for this exciting opportunity.
