About the Role
As an Estimator with ICG Group, you'll play a pivotal role in the pre-construction phase, driving the success of projects from the start.
This role involves:
Preparing accurate project cost estimates.
Reporting on successful project bids.
Maintaining up-to-date market knowledge to identify new opportunities.
Collaborating with our Project Management Team to align bids with client expectations.
Conducting cost analysis, takeoffs, and engaging in the entire tender process.
Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Maintaining tender documentation and ensuring it is up to date.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Proven experience as an Estimator in construction projects OR Strong computer skills with a building background.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry experience.
Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Proficiency in construction software and Microsoft Office (Cubit and Procore experience a bonus).
Strong communication, multitasking, and prioritisation skills.
Ability to handle projects up to $20 million.
