We are seeking an experienced JDE (JD Edwards) Developer responsible for designing, developing and delivering software solutions within the JDE E1 environment.
The JDE Developer will be responsible for working between operational stakeholders, the support partner and the JDE IT Project Team. This role reports to the IT Project Manager.
This role will advise on various solutions that suit the business requirements, perform unit based testing to ensure quality and functionality, be adaptive to any troubleshooting as required and play a guiding hand in the project planning outcomes.
What are your responsibilities? Design, develop and implement JD Edwards ERP solutionsBuild intelligent, robust and sustainable solutions to meet our business requirements.Collaborate with business analysts and Operational Leaders to understand function requirements, and to translate them into technical specifications.Develop and maintain technical documentation for new and existing applicationsPerform unit testing and support user accepted testing (UAT)Resolve any application issues, providing support and training to end users as neededParticipate in project planning, including task estimation and risk identificationAchieve agreed KPIs including cycle time, deployment time frame, flow efficiency.Provide weekly status reports of activitiesWhat do you need to be successful in securing this role? Demonstrated success in a similar role, min 5 years experience with JDERelevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems or relatedDigital technology XP and in depth understanding of ERPs both front and back endTechnical experience with JDE EnterpriseOne development, including tools like Report Design Aid (RDA) Form Design Aid (FDA) and Business Function Programming (C Programming)Demonstrated ability to define and follow the SDLC process aligning best practice, and utilising JDE tools such as OMW to manage the process.Proficiency in SQL and relational databasesPrevious major project experience, working on major transformational projects across a business with multiple touchpoints.Sound understanding of change management, including process design and deliveryDemonstrated success in delivering ongoing system enhancements post deliveryAbility to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlinesKnowledge of integration tools and ability to work collaboratively with othersWhat's in it for you?
