Role Highlights Full-time term vacancy until 30 May 2025 Salary packaging + EAP support for you and your family + 11.5% Superannuation Contribute to policy and strategic initiatives across the department The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Senior Project Officer to join the Strategy, Partnerships and Reform team on a full-time term basis.
The role is responsible for:
Leading the planning, development and implementation of projects and coordinating high quality briefings and reports.
Monitoring and advising on trends and developments in contemporary, quality child protection practice.
Assisting the Senior Manager to provide leadership and advice to achieve work plans and goals.
Effectively understanding, engaging with and working within relevant legislation, including the development of regulations or other documentation.
About You
We are looking for a confident individual who has significant experience in leading project planning, implementation, and outcome monitoring.
Our ideal candidate will be experienced in developing complex policy and conducting thorough analysis and research.
To be successful, you will have a proven ability to identify and deliver strategic and operational outcomes in a sensitive and complex environment.
