As an Environmental Engineer specialising in Contaminated Site Remediation, you'll be an integral part of our dynamic team, working on projects that drive sustainable solutions and make a significant impact on communities and the environment.
What You'll Do: Assist in the design and implementation of remediation solutions across various sectors, including Oil and Gas, transport, manufacturing, and industrial sites. Conduct detailed environmental site assessments, analysing data from soil, groundwater, soil vapour, ambient air, sediment, and surface water. Support remediation projects, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality fieldwork execution. Prepare technical reports such as Validation ESA's, RAPs, and more, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards. Collaborate with experienced technical specialists and auditors to develop effective remediation measures. Contribute to the mentorship of junior staff and support them in project scoping, design, installation, and evaluation of remediation solutions. Build strong client relationships and assist in managing projects to ensure successful outcomes. Participate in the development and growth of the local team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. About You: You are an enthusiastic professional with 3+ years of experience in contaminated site remediation. You bring:
Solid knowledge of soil and groundwater contaminants and experience with remediation strategies. Understanding of WHS Regulations and some experience in a similar role. Skills in contaminated land sampling, investigation methodologies, and remediation technologies. Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental engineering, science, geology, or related fields. A current Australian Driver's Licence and familiarity with local regulations on contaminated sites. A keen interest in developing your skills and contributing to the growth of the team.
