Develop and implement environmental systems and procedures for NBG in alignment with corporate/regional requirements, ensuring consistent application across the site. Provide support and advice to the Processing and Projects department, particularly regarding the residue disposal area construction project, focusing on environmental obligations. Support approvals and mining proposals for ongoing projects and operations across the site as required for operations. Uphold and contribute to the enhancement of the company's environmental management systems and commitments. Build professional relationships with external contacts, including consultants and contractors, ensuring effective collaboration on environmental projects and activities. Mentor and train personnel in environmental compliance, procedures, and processes as well as facilitate the improvement of the environmental management system. Ensure compliance, reporting, incident investigation, and response measures to foster a sustainable and responsible operational approach. Knowledge of relevant Western Australian and Commonwealth legislation relevant to mining. Tertiary qualification in a related discipline such as Environmental Science.
